Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled HME (Homemade Explosives) Explosives Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge and experience in constructing various HMEs from base chemicals to develop and deliver specialized training programs. This role involves providing both theoretical and practical instruction on the synthesis of HMEs, ensuring trainees gain comprehensive and applicable knowledge in this critical area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Training Programs:
    • Design and refine training programs focused on the synthesis and handling of common HMEs.
    • Ensure training content is up-to-date with the latest industry standards and safety protocols.
    • Collaborate with other experts to integrate comprehensive explosives handling and safety strategies.
  • Delivering Training:
    • Conduct detailed training sessions on the synthesis of HMEs, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
    • Use a variety of training methods, including classroom instruction, laboratory exercises, and hands-on demonstrations.
    • Tailor training programs to meet the specific needs and skill levels of different military units.
  • Supervising Training Activities:
    • Oversee the implementation of HME training programs to ensure they are conducted safely and effectively.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to trainees during synthesis exercises.
    • Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and operational standards during all training activities.
  • Assessing Performance:
    • Evaluate the performance of trainees through observation, tests, and feedback sessions.
    • Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations to enhance proficiency in HME synthesis and handling.
    • Develop performance metrics and standards to measure trainee progress and program effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Explosives Expertise:
    • Proven experience in the synthesis and handling of HMEs, preferably in a military or law enforcement setting.
    • In-depth knowledge of common base chemicals and processes used in the construction of HMEs.
    • Experience with various types of explosives and safety procedures associated with their handling and storage.
  • Training and Instruction:
    • Previous experience in military or law enforcement training roles is highly desirable.
    • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
    • Proficiency in conducting both theoretical and practical training sessions.
  • Leadership and Supervision:
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate trainees.
    • Experience in managing training programs and ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
    • Capability to assess performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
