Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Custom Electronics Fabrication Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in fabricating customized electronic devices such as cameras, listening devices, trigger devices, and tracking devices. This role requires the ability to modify commercial off-the-shelf equipment and consumer electronics, such as Arduinos and Raspberry Pis, to meet specific operational needs. Programming knowledge is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricating Custom Electronic Devices:
  • Design and fabricate customized electronic devices using commercial off-the-shelf equipment and consumer electronics.
  • Develop and modify devices such as cameras, listening devices, trigger devices, and tracking devices to meet specific client requirements.
  • Ensure devices are reliable, effective, and meet operational standards.
• Prototyping and Testing:
  • Create prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to ensure functionality and durability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process.
  • Refine and optimize device designs based on testing results.
• Technical Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of fabrication processes, device specifications, and modifications.
  • Create user manuals and technical guides for custom devices.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
• Collaboration and Innovation:
  • Work closely with other team members to integrate custom devices into broader technology solutions.
  • Stay current with advancements in electronics and related technologies.
  • Innovate and propose new solutions to meet emerging client needs.

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
  • Proven experience in fabricating and modifying electronic devices using commercial off-the-shelf equipment and consumer electronics.
  • Proficiency with platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, sensors, and microcontrollers.
• Programming Knowledge:
  • Basic programming skills are an asset, particularly in languages commonly used for embedded systems (e.g., Python, C, C++).
  • Ability to write and modify code to enhance device functionality.
